• 5+ years building and running production backend systems
• Operability focus: monitoring, alerting, debugging
• Distributed systems at scale: latency, throughput, failure modes
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar; write clean, maintainable code
• AI-assisted development tools (copilots/LLMs) to improve productivity
• Hands-on with containers, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code
