Senior Backend Software Engineer (Python)

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant backend services and APIs across the Predictive Intelligence stack.
• Build and evolve forecasting, scoring, and data processing services delivering insights.
• Write clean, well-tested Python and establish patterns for easy maintenance.
• Collaborate with data scientists/ML engineers to productionize models and build pipelines.
• Participate in on-call rotations and own production service health.
• Lead design and code reviews and mentor mid-level and junior engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive software engineering experience building production backend services.
• Strong Python proficiency with performant, well-tested code.
• Kubernetes containerized services on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with Snowflake, Iceberg, Trino, or Postgres.
• Understanding of ML/AI systems in production and data/model pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
