Senior BESS Inverter Performance Engineer

📋 Description

• Investigate, prioritize, and resolve inverter-related performance issues across operating battery
• Conduct root cause analyses to determine whether issues originate from software, firmware, control
• Collaborate with inverter vendors to define corrective actions, establish retrofit requirements
• Maintain detailed vendor issue logs documenting investigation status, identified causes, corrective
• Review firmware updates, software releases, design modifications, and proposed retrofits to assess
• Support troubleshooting of voltage regulation, frequency response, real power, and reactive power

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a
• Strong understanding of inverter operation, dispatch control, firmware and software behavior
• Practical experience troubleshooting inverter or battery energy storage system performance issues
• Knowledge of power systems is preferred, including voltage control, frequency response, and real
• Experience coordinating corrective actions or retrofit deployments across multiple sites, including
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, or similar tools for maintaining technical issue logs
