Senior Business Operations Analyst, Infrastructure Portfolio & Lifecycle

📋 Description

• Own the long-term strategy for DigitalOcean's global data center portfolio across the full asset
• Build and execute data center decommissioning strategy, including timelines, cost management, and
• Manage the decommissioning of legacy hardware within data centers, coordinating across Operations
• Partner with Finance and Business Planning to align portfolio decisions with capital priorities and
• Evaluate technology refresh cycles and recommend optimal timing for infrastructure upgrades
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform where and when DigitalOcean should expand or

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure strategy, data center operations, or asset lifecycle
• Direct experience with data center expansion, market selection, or decommissioning processes
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
• Familiarity with data center technical infrastructure (power, cooling, hardware refresh cycles)
• Analytical mindset, with experience building business cases for capital investment or divestment
• Comfort operating in a newly formed function without an established playbook
