Senior C++ Engineer - Satellite Real-Time Control Systems

📋 Description

• Write and optimize modern C++ code with deterministic latency budgets for on-orbit execution
• Bridge sensors, actuators, and control algorithms with deterministic loops and telemetry
• Drive quality across the lifecycle from requirements and design to HIL/MIL testing and on-orbit support
• Collaborate with GNC, electronics, ground, and mission ops teams to debug and improve performance
• Lead architecture evolution as the fleet grows by refactoring and adopting new tech
• Investigate anomalies by analyzing flight telemetry and rolling out fixes

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience writing modern C++ with production-quality code
• Real-time control software experience for autonomous or safety-critical systems
• Hard real-time constraints, latency budgeting, and deterministic behaviour
• Experience interfacing with sensors and actuators in embedded Linux environments
• Strong engineering practices including rigorous testing, CI/CD, and clear documentation
• Ownership across the full software lifecycle from concept to on-orbit maintenance
