Senior Category & Product Development Manager, eComm

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end lifecycle for your category from concept to launch and post-launch optimization
• Translate anime, gaming, and pop culture trends into assortments across apparel, accessories, collectibles
• Develop product briefs, define assortments, and make buy, pricing, and inventory decisions that balance fan demand and profitability
• Partner with vendors to manage product development, sampling, approvals, production timelines, quality, and delivery
• Drive cross-functional execution across Design, Creative, Marketing, Planning, Finance, Legal, and Operations to launch
• Monitor product performance, sales, margin, inventory, and fan feedback to inform future decisions
• Champion premium product quality, packaging, and brand standards for Crunchyroll’s IPs
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and boost category performance globally

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in merchandising, buying, category mgmt, or product development in DTC eCommerce
• Deep knowledge of anime, gaming, youth culture; translate trends into products
• Proven ownership of category performance: assortment, forecasting, pricing, margin, inventory
• Experience taking products from concept to launch and post-launch optimization
• Partner with manufacturers and vendors on development, sampling, approvals, production, delivery
• Cross-functional leadership across Design, Creative, Marketing, Planning, Finance, Legal, Ops
• Strong commercial and analytical instincts; use data to optimize assortment, pricing, inventory
• Experience with licensed IP or entertainment brands
