Senior Clojure Developer

📋 Description

• Embark on an international software development project
• Deliver features and system components end to end, from design and implementation through testing
• Build and maintain backend systems for web applications, such as REST/HTTP APIs, services and data
• Support colleagues through thorough code reviews and mentoring less experienced developers
• Work with product and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development, including at least 3 years of production Clojure
• Strong grasp of functional programming and Clojure idioms: immutability, the REPL-driven workflow
• Hands-on experience with the Clojure web ecosystem, such as Ring, Reitit/Compojure, Pedestal
• Solid experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, for example PostgreSQL, Datomic, Redis or
• Good working knowledge of the JVM, including performance tuning and Java interop
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and cloud or containerised environments
