Senior Cloud Engineer

📋 Description

• Act as the customer's Fastly architect and technical lead.
• Build strong technical relationships and understand customer infrastructure.
• Post-sales implementation of Fastly products; document configurations.
• Suggest improvements to customers' Fastly implementations.
• Identify opportunities to introduce new Fastly products for needs.
• Lead/participate in regular customer meetings and track account health.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years Pre-Sales or Post-Sales experience in Sales Engineering, Web Development, or related roles.
• Hands-on role; willing to roll up sleeves and tackle issues.
• Strong understanding of networking (BGP, internet routing; transit vs peering).
• Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP, TLS, DNS, HLS, DASH; Load Balancing, Apache, NGINX.
• Linux and scripting experience with Python, Sed, Awk, Perl, JSON, Ruby, Go, Node.js.
• Experience with internet and cloud-based architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
