Senior CloudOps Engineer

📋 Description

• Own reliability for CloudZero's real-time ingestion path and SLOs
• Sign off on critical paths before live, pause on error budgets
• Instrument systems for quick failure detection with data
• Build observability into everything to detect issues early
• Write production Python across libraries, services, automation
• Design and maintain CloudFormation and SAM modules, own infra end-to-end

🎯 Requirements

• Strong production Python as primary language
• Define an SLO and what not to alert on
• Asynchronous event-driven systems (Kafka, Kinesis, SQS)
• 5+ years building distributed systems in AWS
• IaC experience: CloudFormation/SAM or Terraform
• Monitoring with Datadog, Prometheus, or Sumo Logic
