(Senior) Controller

📋 Description

• Build and own the monthly close end-to-end with Accounting and stakeholders
• Review accruals, cut-offs, reconciliations and reporting packs
• Act as the primary go-to for technical accounting questions on new models and contracts
• Develop and maintain technical accounting docs (revenue recognition, leases, capitalization)
• Manage external partners including accountants, tax advisors and auditors
• Strengthen internal controls and improve process efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience in accounting, controlling or financial reporting
• Experience leading or coordinating a small accounting team
• German HGB knowledge; IFRS exposure is a plus
• Proven ownership of the full monthly close cycle
• Strong internal controls mindset and ability to improve processes
• Advanced DATEV skills and confidence with accounting systems
