Senior Corporate Counsel, Product

📋 Description

• Serve as primary partner for cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations).
• Assess legal risks in product development: privacy, licensing, IP, and lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve issues on data privacy, security, export controls, OSS, and AI.
• Advise on US/global privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR) and emerging AI regulations.
• Support drafting and negotiation of complex commercial and data protection agreements.
• Co-develop scalable self-service legal playbooks and automated workflows for Eng/Product.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in at least one US state.
• 8+ years in-house legal experience supporting SaaS/PaaS/IaaS product teams.
• Track record counseling AI product/engineering across the product lifecycle.
• Translate complex legal advice into actionable guidance for Product, Engineering, and Ops.
• Strong understanding of US/global privacy regs, IP, OSS, AI, and data security.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements.
