📋 Description

• Serve as primary contact for cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations).
• Assess legal risks in product development from design to global launch.
• Identify and resolve legal issues on data privacy, security, export controls, OSS, and AI.
• Help shape long-term strategy and priorities of the product counsel function.
• Advise on US/global privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR) and AI regulations.
• Draft and negotiate complex commercial and data protection agreements.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active US state bar.
• 8+ years of in-house experience supporting SaaS/PaaS/IaaS product teams.
• Track record counseling AI product/engineering teams through lifecycle.
• Growth mindset with collaborative, proactive approach.
• Translate complex legal advice into actionable guidance; draft and negotiate complex agreements.
• Deep understanding of US/global privacy, IP, OSS, AI, and data security.
