Senior Corporate Counsel, Product

📋 Description

• Serve as primary partner for product, engineering, marketing, and operations.
• Assess legal risks in product development, including privacy, licensing, IP.
• Advise on US/global privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR) and AI regulations to ensure global compliance.
• Draft and negotiate vendor and technology agreements to support launches.
• Support incident response and regulatory investigations.
• Co-develop scalable self-service legal playbooks and templates for Engineering and Product teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar in at least one US state.
• 8+ years of in-house experience supporting SaaS, PaaS, and/or IaaS product teams.
• Track record counseling AI product and engineering teams across the lifecycle.
• Low-ego, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude with a growth mindset.
• Proven ability to translate complex legal advice into actionable guidance for Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Strong understanding of US/global privacy regs, IP, open-source software, AI, and data security.
