Senior Corporate Counsel - Public Sector

📋 Description

• Support U.S. State, Local and Higher Education (SLED) business with complex transactional work.
• Negotiate, draft, and manage SaaS, PSAs, SOWs, and partner agreements.
• Advise on procurement laws and regulations; review proposals and RFPs.
• Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, finance, and compliance teams.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on compliance and risk.
• Drive process improvements to scale legal support.

🎯 Requirements

• +7 years of experience in commercial and SLED transactions at SaaS/tech firms.
• Expertise in government procurement frameworks and contracting vehicles.
• Strong contract negotiation, drafting, and risk assessment skills.
• Knowledge of export controls, cybersecurity requirements, regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.

🎁 Benefits

• Base salary range: $172,000 – $265,650 depending on location and experience.
