Senior Cost Controller (Ghent)

📋 Description

• Manage and coordinate the monthly cost control and reporting process for assigned projects
• Analyse project performance, identify risks and opportunities, challenge financial assumptions
• Review and validate project cost control data with Project Managers and operational teams
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial information and reports
• Support Project Managers with timely financial insights and performance analyses
• Act as business partner for project teams, ensure proper communication of accounting and financial

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including cost control, project controlling, audit
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Confident communicator, able to challenge and influence stakeholders at different levels
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong asset
