Senior Counsel, Contracts

📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements, including MSAs, SaaS/licensing
• Own and optimize the contracting workflow within the company's CLM system, driving efficiency and
• Partner directly with sales, revenue operations, and cross-functional leaders to advise on contract
• Identify legal risks in commercial transactions and escalate appropriately, exercising sound
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and internal guidance documents to support
• Over time, expand your portfolio into adjacent areas such as employment law, data privacy, and

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5-7 years of experience in commercial contracting, with a strong foundation in technology
• Demonstrated ability to independently draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements
• Experience working with or managing a CLM platform
• Strong business judgment with the ability to balance thorough legal review against the pace and
• Comfortable operating in a lean legal team where you handle both strategy and execution
