Senior Counsel, Employment & Compliance

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted senior advisor to executives, People team members, and cross-functional
• Advise on and assist the People team with sensitive U.S. and global employee relations issues
• Coordinate with Commercial, Product, and Revenue team members to advise on platform and marketplace
• Manage dispute resolution, legal process, and litigation, including legal holds, investigations
• Provide counsel on regulatory and compliance issues related to HackerOne’s platform, customers, and
• Act as an AI-forward legal partner by identifying opportunities to use AI to improve legal

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school or global equivalent, with active bar admission in good
• 7+ years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, including substantive
• Demonstrated experience managing complex legal matters, including litigation or dispute resolution
• Experience independently evaluating complex legal and business risks, using evidence and sound
