Senior Counsel - Product & Privacy

📋 Description

• Partner with Product and Engineering early in the lifecycle to shape new inference, fine-tuning
• Draft and maintain customer-facing product terms.
• Advise on legal issues unique to AI infrastructure: model hosting and third-party model licenses
• Build playbooks, templates, and self-serve tools that let the business move fast without legal
• Advise on open-source and model licensing (open-weight models, permissive and restrictive licenses
• Help build and run our patent program: invention disclosure processes, working with Research and

🎯 Requirements

• A JD and an active bar license in good standing
• 7+ years of experience at a top law firm and/or in-house at a technology company, ideally cloud
• Demonstrated experience advising product and engineering teams and drafting product terms.
• Hands-on experience with global privacy law and running or substantially contributing to a privacy
• Working knowledge of export controls (EAR/OFAC), ideally including building or scaling a compliance
• Experience with technology and IP licensing, including open-source licenses.
