Senior Counsel, Transactions

📋 Description

• Identify and resolve highly complex legal issues, and draft and negotiate highly complex corporate
• Keep abreast of changes in laws that affect pharmaceutical licensing and M&A transactions
• Manage M&A and pharmaceutical licensing and collaboration/joint venture transactions.
• Independently negotiate highly individualized and sophisticated agreements with third parties on
• Engage in due diligence, interpret complex existing agreements, and advise on transaction-related
• Select and direct outside counsel and ensure compliance with corporate policies.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in job location
• Minimum of 4 years of legal experience, in-house or healthcare compliance experience preferred
• Exposure to biopharma, healthcare, or life sciences compliance topics
• Demonstrated ability to advise business clients and assess legal risk in real time
• Experience handling complex matters with autonomy and cross-functional collaboration
