Senior Counsel, Vendor

📋 Description

• Lead negotiation and drafting of vendor agreements (tech, cloud, SaaS, data).
• Manage high-volume vendor deals with speed and sound judgment.
• Design, implement playbooks, templates, and negotiation guides.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, product, finance, security, privacy.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to senior managers.
• Develop training to enable self-serve on vendor matters.

🎯 Requirements

• JD and active admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• 8+ years of transactional experience (in-house or tech firm).
• 2+ years direct people management experience.
• Exceptional drafting skills.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of data protection/privacy regimes (CCPA, GDPR, GLBA).
