Senior Credit Analyst

📋 Description

• Senior role in Monzo's Borrowing team focused on credit strategy for lending products, especially
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, and Risk & Control to
• Design and refine credit underwriting, limit strategies, and pricing decisions to optimise risk and
• Analyse portfolio performance, NPVs, profitability, and segmentation to identify insights and
• Present structured recommendations to senior stakeholders and support regulatory/governance

🎯 Requirements

• Strong analytics and data capabilities; SQL is essential; Python and Looker are a plus.
• Experience in unsecured lending, ideally credit cards; understanding of credit card economics (APR
• Experience building/influencing credit strategies (underwriting, limit management, pricing).
• Experience with NPV models, profitability analysis, and portfolio forecasting.
• Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate
• Interest in balancing risk, growth, and customer outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
