Senior Cyber Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Troubleshoot data collection issues to ensure accurate security data ingestion.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues affecting stability, performance, or usability.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain Splunk Add-ons for data sources.
• Develop and maintain documentation including BOE artifacts, security plans, and accreditation.
• Deliver a Splunk deployment document detailing specs and architecture for production.
• Implement strict RBAC to ensure data access by need-to-know.

🎯 Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years cyber experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and Splunk.
• Linux system administration and TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Splunk certification or DoD 8570.1 IAT II+ certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
