Senior Data Developer

📋 Description

• Implement and validate data workload modernization using solid engineering practices and
• Analyze legacy workloads including SSIS packages, stored procedures, views, functions, SQL Agent
• Implement T-SQL to Databricks SQL, Spark SQL, or PySpark conversions; convert or rebuild SSIS flows.
• Contribute to the migration harness: develop context, instructions, skills, and tooling; integrate
• Create unit, integration, and regression tests for converted pipelines; execute parity validations
• Use coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) for code analysis, implementation, refactoring, test

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience as Data Engineer or Data Developer, preferably senior level.
• Practical experience developing and maintaining data pipelines.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and ability to understand complex queries and processes.
• Experience with SQL Server including T-SQL, stored procedures, views, functions, SQL Agent Jobs
• Practical SSIS experience: reading, developing, or troubleshooting .dtsx packages, control flows
• Experience with Databricks or Apache Spark-based platforms.
