Senior Data Developer (Databricks)

📋 Description

• Own and evolve notebooks across the medallion architecture for BI-ready data.
• Lead architectural and process improvements; troubleshoot production jobs.
• Design dimensional modeling artifacts to power downstream reporting.
• Deploy and document changes across Dev/QA/UAT/PROD environments.
• Act as primary technical reference and mentor for the data team.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven Databricks production experience.
• Strong PySpark (DataFrame API, Spark SQL, UDFs) and Databricks SQL; tuning.
• Delta Lake: MERGE/upsert, ACID, time travel, maintenance.
• SCD (Type 1/2) and dimensional modeling.
• Medallion architecture; Unity Catalog; notebooks/workflows.
• Advanced English (C1+); able to work with US stakeholders.
