Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and own batch data pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and S3.
• Build and optimize ingestion pipelines using AppFlow, DMS, and event streams.
• Develop data models and query layers with Athena, Redshift, and ClickHouse.
• Design data workflow integrations with backend services on ECS.
• Collaborate with engineers to expose data via APIs.
• Contribute to event-driven architectures with EventBridge.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in data or backend engineering.
• Strong hands-on AWS: Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Athena, Redshift.
• Design scalable batch data pipelines and ETL.
• Java (backend) and Python (data) proficiency.
• Containerized apps and ECS experience.
• Event-driven systems: SQS and EventBridge.
• Advanced SQL skills for analytics; Spark familiarity.
• Data modeling, storage strategies, and performance optimization.
