Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and own batch data pipelines and ETL with AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and S3.
• Build and optimize ingestion pipelines using AWS AppFlow, DMS, and event-streaming.
• Develop and maintain analytical data models and query layers with Athena, Redshift, ClickHouse.
• Design integrations between data workflows and backend microservices on ECS.
• Collaborate with software engineers to develop backend services and APIs exposing data.
• Contribute to EventBridge-driven architectures to coordinate workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in data or backend engineering (hybrid role).
• Hands-on AWS: Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Athena, Redshift.
• Design and build scalable batch data pipelines and ETL.
• Java for backend, Python for data workflows.
• Containerized apps and ECS experience.
• Event-driven systems with SQS and EventBridge.
