Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain Airflow pipelines and automation workflows.
• Integrate with external financial data providers and internal services.
• Manage configuration and deployments across test, UAT, and production.
• Contribute to shared libraries, CLI tooling, and automated reporting.
• Collaborate with the wider team to scope, review, and ship changes end-to-end.
• Use AI coding assistants as a daily workflow multiplier.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Python fundamentals; write clean, well-typed code.
• Strong SQL skills; write and optimise complex queries.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL: indexes, query plans, schema design.
• Experience with workflow orchestration and Airflow.
• Comfortable in a containerised, cloud-native infrastructure.
• Able to move fast without cutting corners and know when to ship.
