Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and evolve core data platform infra (query engines, orchestration, warehousing, cataloging).
• Own lakehouse infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible on Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain low-latency streaming and CDC pipelines, plus batch ingestion to Iceberg.
• Develop and scale BI data access for downstream teams and agents.
• Enforce reliability with monitoring, alerting, on-call rotations, runbooks, and SLAs.
• Partner with DevOps, Analytics Engineering, and others to close infra gaps and support new data requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Data Engineering; 2+ years building scalable, low-latency data platforms handling >100M events/day.
• Hands-on Kubernetes data infra with Docker and Helm.
• Production IaC: Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD (or equivalents).
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems; hands-on with Trino or Presto.
• Experience with Apache Iceberg and object storage.
• Streaming and CDC: Kafka/Redpanda/Debezium.
