Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Work with key stakeholders, business analysts, data analysts and development teams to understand
• Lead the design and documentation of conceptual, logical, physical and dimensional data models for
• Define entities, attributes, relationships, keys, grain, hierarchies and business definitions in
• Design and evolve scalable data warehouse, datamart and analytical schemas that support consistent
• Analyse source systems and perform source-to-target mapping, identifying data meaning
• Partner with data engineers to implement models through reliable ETL/ELT and data processing

🎯 Requirements

• 8–10 years of data modelling experience, ideally in data warehousing, datamarts or analytical data
• Proven experience designing and delivering conceptual, logical, physical and dimensional data
• Advanced SQL development skills, including the ability to profile, validate and troubleshoot data
• Strong understanding of database design, including normalisation, denormalisation, schema design
• Experience analysing source systems, defining source-to-target mappings and translating business
• Experience implementing data models through ETL/ELT, orchestration and data processing pipelines.
