Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead the architecture and evolution of Databricks data pipelines and lakehouse
• Translate mission requirements into scalable data architectures and strategies
• Define data engineering standards, reusable patterns, and best practices
• Architect automated ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, PySpark, Spark, and Delta Lake
• Design scalable data models, schemas, data contracts, and medallion patterns
• Lead batch and streaming capabilities for operational, analytical, and AI/ML workloads

🎯 Requirements

• 9+ years in data or software engineering; U.S. citizenship with DoW Secret clearance
• Lead enterprise-scale data platforms using Databricks
• Advanced Python, SQL, PySpark, Spark, and Delta Lake
• Architect large-scale ETL/ELT, batch, and streaming pipelines
• Design lakehouse architectures, data models, schemas, and data contracts
• Operate Databricks jobs/workflows on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
