Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines powering Roku's experimentation platform
• Build orchestrated workflows for experiment aggregations and metric computation
• Develop distributed jobs for large-scale event processing and analytics
• Collaborate with product engineering to align data contracts and ingestion
• Own the Amoeba data layer and evolve its architecture for scale
• Support migration and modernization across storage formats and cross-cloud workloads

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as data or software engineer; 3+ years building large-scale pipelines
• Python proficiency; required
• Deep experience with Spark, Airflow, Hive, Kafka, Presto/Trino, HDFS
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; hybrid/cross-cloud a plus
• Experience with experimentation platforms or event-driven data systems a plus
• BS in Computer Science; MS preferred
