Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and own ingestion pipelines from PostgreSQL and Kafka/AWS MSK.
• Define data replication, transformation, or derived-data boundaries.
• Evaluate AWS-native tooling, Snowflake, and Databricks for governance tradeoffs.
• Establish data governance: access controls, audit logging, lineage.
• Ensure analytics stay downstream from transactional sources.
• Define data quality, validation, and reconciliation for production pipelines.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Hands-on data pipeline design and build experience.
• Production ingestion from PostgreSQL.
• Production experience with Kafka, AWS MSK, or similar.
• Data governance: access control, audit logging, lineage.
• Authorized to work in the United States and strong written communication.
