Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and own batch data pipelines and ETL with AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and S3.
• Build and optimize ingestion pipelines with AppFlow, DMS, and event streaming.
• Develop analytical data models and query layers (Athena, Redshift, ClickHouse).
• Design integrations between data workflows and backend services on ECS.
• Collaborate with engineers to expose data via APIs.
• Contribute to event-driven architectures using EventBridge.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or a related hybrid role.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience with Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Athena, and Redshift.
• Proven experience designing and building scalable batch data pipelines and ETL systems.
• Strong programming skills in Java for backend and Python for data processing.
• Experience with containerized apps and orchestration (ECS).
• Familiarity with microservices architectures and backend system design.
