Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Own Float's Snowflake architecture end-to-end — organization, cost efficiency, and access controls
• Design and build an orchestration layer for ingestion pipelines
• Stand up observability and alerting for immediate data issues
• Introduce data contracts between producers and consumers to prevent silent breaks
• Own the DataOps layer — CI/CD for data and data quality checks
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineer to ensure clean handoffs and data lineage

🎯 Requirements

• Python and SQL — strong, not just functional
• Hands-on ELT/ETL pipelines at scale
• Cloud data platform experience (Snowflake, Databricks)
• Orchestration experience and strong POV on its use
• dbt fluency and collaboration with transform owner
• Data observability, data quality, and data contracts
