Senior Data Engineer, Data Foundations

📋 Description

• Design and build Data 360 data products: governed, well-documented, dimensional and domain-driven
• Define and maintain canonical definitions for core business metrics (e.g., volume, turnaround time
• Lead design reviews and make architecture, build-vs-buy, and technology decisions in partnership
• Build and maintain semantic layers and certified, trusted views of core metrics for self-service
• Use Sigma to publish foundational datasets, governed metrics, and reusable workbook components.
• Build scalable, tested, well-documented dbt pipelines on Snowflake with CI/CD practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years (Senior) or 9+ years (Staff) of data/software engineering experience.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: version control, testing, code review, CI/CD, modular
• Expert-level SQL and strong Python.
• Deep hands-on experience with dbt, including testing, documentation, macros, and project structure.
• Strong grounding in analytical data modeling (dimensional/domain-driven) and semantic layers.
• Experience with modern cloud data warehouse (Snowflake) and AWS infrastructure.
