Senior Data Engineer - Platform

📋 Description

• Own and evolve Ebury's analytics platform end-to-end, with Sigma as the core BI and visualization
• Define and manage the SDLC for analyst workflows across dbt and BigQuery: development standards
• Build the frameworks and guardrails that enable self-service analytics — ensuring dashboards and
• Champion metrics consistency across the organisation, ensuring business definitions are aligned
• Support and upskill the Data Analyst community, helping them adopt analytics-engineering practices
• Provide observability for analyst-facing data products: usage analytics, freshness, data quality

🎯 Requirements

• Self-motivation and curiosity, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Platform engineering experience building internal platforms consumed by other teams — ideally
• Hands-on expertise administering and scaling a modern BI tool (Sigma strongly preferred; experience
• Deep experience with dbt and BigQuery — project structuring, testing strategies, performance and
