Senior Data Ops and Services Programmer

📋 Description

• Maintain, upgrade, and optimize existing database systems through performance tuning, hardware
• Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and
• Manage self-hosted database solutions and improve their performance, scalability, and reliability
• Integrate data from multiple sources, maintain data integrity and consistency, and implement
• Ensure compliance with applicable government policies, data protection requirements, privacy
• Assess existing database architectures, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years of relevant industry experience in data engineering, database administration
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other relational and NoSQL database management
• Demonstrated experience setting up, administering, maintaining, and optimizing self-hosted database
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and practical experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Hands-on experience with ETL orchestration tools such as Dagster or Apache Airflow.
• In-depth understanding of data warehousing principles, relational data modeling, and efficient data
