📋 Description

• Lead a data science team evaluating Waymo Driver’s rule-of-road compliance across countries and
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and systems teams to align data-driven roadmaps and improve
• Frame ambiguous problems, scope technical priorities, and advance statistical methods for
• Measure driver performance in new territories and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Be an active technical contributor and people manager to several data scientists.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Physics).
• PhD plus 8+ years or 12+ years of industry data science experience.
• Experience as both a technical lead and a people manager.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience and a data-driven culture champion.
• Expertise in advanced statistical methods and familiarity with ML systems/models.
• Proven data analysis skills in Python, R, and/or SQL.

🎁 Benefits

• Salary Range: $298,000 — $368,000 USD
