Senior Data Scientist / Analyst, Finance

📋 Description

• Build and maintain the financial reporting layer in our data warehouse
• Reconcile GL and platform data with the business record
• Translate raw trading data into clean financial reports
• Analyze how fees, incentives, and promotions flow to revenue
• Measure ROI of incentives and promotions and retention impact
• Collaborate with finance for monthly close and forecasts

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in data/financial analysis or similar
• Expert SQL for complex joins across transaction data
• Data science background with Python or R
• Accounting fundamentals and revenue recognition
• Experience building in cloud warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, ClickHouse)
• Strong accuracy; able to reconcile and sanity-check numbers
