Senior Data Scientist (Analytics)

📋 Description

• Define metrics for problem space (primary, leading, lagging, guardrails)
• Design and analyze controlled experiments; make ship/iterate/stop recommendations
• Diagnose metric movements: decompose, segment, rule out data-quality issues, explain why
• Size opportunities and run proactive deep dives into consumer, merchant, driver behavior
• Oversee data specifications and instrumentation for new features
• Build dashboards and certified metrics for self-serve visibility

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years in analytics/quantitative roles, with 2+ years owning metrics for consumer
• Fluent SQL on large datasets; proficient Python or R
• Hands-on experience designing and analyzing experiments (A/B tests, holdouts, quasi-experiments)
• Sound statistics applied to decisions: hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, power, multiple
• Precise metric framing: numerator, denominator, population
• Structured solutioning on ambiguous questions
