Senior Data Scientist, Engine Systems

📋 Description

• Define reliability metrics for Engine systems, incl crash KPIs
• Transform and visualize telemetry data; build analytics pipelines and insights
• Design and lead A/B experiments and causal analyses
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Eng, Product, TPMs and Roblox teams
• Shape Engine foundations for scalable, high-performance platform

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree or equivalent in CS/Stats/Eng for large-scale systems
• 4+ years as Data Scientist focusing on telemetry and quality
• Expertise processing massive noisy datasets and scalable pipelines
• Use first-principles reasoning to debug complex failures
• Present technical results to Eng leaders; data storytelling
• Experience with game engines or real-time systems preferred
