Senior Data Scientist - Family Experience

📋 Description

• Shape the Family Experience roadmap with data science guidance on parent linking and consent.
• Identify and size high-impact levers to improve parent links, engagement, and consent rates.
• Design and evaluate onboarding, linking, verification, consent, and Family Hub experiences.
• Apply experimentation and causal inference to understand how parent engagement drives outcomes.
• Define success metrics and measurement frameworks for launches, funnels, and long-term product health.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Policy, Legal, and UX Research to clarify decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data science, analytics, economics, or ML engineering.
• 2+ years with Python or R and big data tools (SQL, Hive, Spark, Airflow).
• Knowledge of ML and deep learning via training or industry experience.
• Strong ability to apply first-principles reasoning to ambiguous problems.
• Experience building large-scale safety/moderation systems for user-generated content.
• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in statistics, CS, physics, applied math, economics, or related field.
