Senior Data Scientist, Finance & Strategy

📋 Description

• Build a holistic, company-wide view of Chime’s performance, connecting member growth, engagement
• Partner with Investor Relations to turn internal data into how Chime communicates its progress to
• Be an arbiter of truth with data, making sure the metrics Chime shares externally are precisely
• Explain why metrics move. Spot trends and inflection points early, dig into the underlying drivers
• Partner with Corporate Strategy on high-priority, high-visibility projects with strategic impact
• Work across every part of Chime, partnering with Finance, Product, Marketing, Risk, Operations, and

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience, including hands-on work in data-focused roles delivering analyses
• Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a similar analytical role before
• Strong financial acumen: fluency in financial statements, unit economics, and the KPIs investors
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy. You reconcile numbers across sources
• Agility and comfort with ambiguity. You reprioritize quickly, perform well under tight deadlines
• Expert-level SQL and proficiency in Python for analysis.
