Senior Data Scientist (Fraud)

📋 Description

• Prototype, evaluate, and productionize ML models for fraud detection.
• Design experiments to measure fraud interventions' impact.
• Assess fraud typologies to inform prioritization and investments.
• Build and maintain anomaly detection systems for new fraud vectors.
• Collaborate with fraud ops, engineers, PMs, and analysts to translate outputs into mitigations.

🎯 Requirements

• Statistics degree in a quantitative field (Statistics/Math/Engineering/CS).
• 5+ years in data science, decision science, or risk analytics within fraud, payments, or financial crime.
• Hands-on ML model building and deployment in production; fraud/risk/financial services a plus.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; comfortable across the full model development lifecycle.
• An investigative mindset; enjoy digging into data to find patterns others miss.
• Communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and drive action.
