Senior Data Scientist, Systems Performance

📋 Description

• Lead development of evaluation frameworks for autonomous systems.
• Collaborate with Safety and Systems Eng to map metrics to safety standards (SOTIF/ISO 21448).
• Ensure metrics reliably inform safety cases and launch readiness.
• Monitor drift and data quality across the evaluation ecosystem.
• Drive data-backed performance analysis for simulation and on-road data.
• Develop new statistical methods for AV data.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience solving complex problems with large datasets.
• Bachelor's or higher in CS/Engineering/Data Science/Robotics/Math; MS/PhD preferred.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with data analysis libraries.
• Experience applying advanced statistical and ML methods to drive insights.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently from problem to results.
• Proven communication and collaboration with engineers and leadership.
