Senior Data Scientist, Systems Performance

📋 Description

• Lead development of evaluation frameworks for autonomous systems with data-driven metrics.
• Collaborate with Safety and Systems teams to map metrics to safety standards and launch readiness.
• Ensure evaluation metrics are reliable to inform safety cases and launch decisions.
• Monitor metric and data reliability, detecting drift and inconsistencies.
• Drive performance analysis using data-driven methods for simulation and on-road data.
• Develop new statistical methods to analyze AV performance data.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years solving complex problems with large datasets.
• Bachelor’s or higher in CS/Engineering/DS/Math; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with data-analysis libraries.
• Experience applying advanced statistical and ML methods.
• Statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and causal analysis experience.
• Proven communication skills; explain findings to engineers and leadership.
