Senior Database Administrator

📋 Description

• Architect, operate, and optimize cloud data platforms across AWS commercial and GovCloud.
• Own performance, scale, high availability, backup, DR, and multi-region strategies.
• Build AI-native data infrastructure for 1Exiger (vector search, embeddings, RAG).
• Ensure data security, encryption, access control, auditability, and FedRAMP.
• Partner with security on POA&M remediation and continuous monitoring.
• Drive cost optimization across legacy and cloud estates using FinOps.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of database administration with cloud data ownership.
• Deep expertise in cloud DB design, performance tuning, HA, DR.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, encryption.
• Experience supporting enterprise SaaS with uptime and compliance.
• Working knowledge or interest in AI data infrastructure (vector search, embeddings).
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, AI/ML, and security teams.
