Senior Database Administrator

📋 Description

• Monitor database health, performance, and availability by identifying and resolving performance
• Perform regular health checks and vulnerability assessments while performing proactive capacity
• Ensure database security standards and best practices are implemented and maintained.
• Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and platform refreshes.
• Diagnose and resolve critical production incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Python, PL/SQL, or similar technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience
• Minimum 2+ years managing Oracle Database 19c environments
• Experience supporting large-scale production systems with high availability requirements
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle 19c, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, RMAN Backup & Recovery, Database
• Experience with Linux administration, Shell scripting, Database upgrades and migrations, Capacity
