Senior Database Administrator (DBA)

📋 Description

• Own the performance, availability, and scalability of our production database systems (PostgreSQL
• Design, implement, and maintain backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
• Lead database deployments, migrations, and schema changes with minimal downtime
• Provide after-hours and on-call support for critical deployments, sharing coverage with the rest of
• Monitor database health and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks
• Partner with Engineering to design scalable data architectures for new features

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar senior data infrastructure role
• Strong hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB in production environments
• Solid experience with backup and disaster recovery strategies, replication, and high-availability
• Experience supporting production deployments, including after-hours or on-call rotations
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, distributed team spanning multiple timezones
• Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills under pressure
