Administer PostgreSQL databases (250GB+) in production (AWS RDS/Aurora/EC2)
Ensure DB availability, performance, and data integrity via proactive monitoring
Perform routine tasks: patching, upgrades, vacuuming, reindexing, stats
Execute backups, restores, and DR procedures; test recovery plans
Manage user access, roles, and database security per best practices
Capacity planning and storage management for growth

🎯 Requirements

7+ years of experience in a senior DBA or Database Engineering role
Strong PostgreSQL administration, including backups, recovery, and performance tuning
Cloud-based deployments, preferably AWS (RDS/Aurora/EC2/S3)
Linux administration skills (processes, disk, memory, networking)
SQL proficiency and scripting (Bash, Python)
Solid understanding of database security, access control, and compliance
